Mathematicians are our heroes! Our mission is to celebrate famous contemporary mathematicians and their discoveries and to inspire new heroes of math.
This fellowship continues in the Baden Academy Media Lab as fellows interview and learn from internationally recognized mathematicians. In addition, the fellowship has expanded to the STEM Leadership Center where a team of teens and area math teachers work to make this medal part of every school's math department! |
Jameson has been a research fellow in Heroes of Math fellowship since 2018. He likes playing video games and math, which he describes as fun. When he grows up, he wants to be a chef
Parker Heroes of Math in 2020. He Likes to draw and he likes to go to ninja zone. He joined the project because he likes math.
Alison Heroes of Math in 6th grade as a new research fellow. She loves math, photography, and cheer. She wants to be a combination of Annie Leibowitz (photographer) and Brenda Chapman (Pixar Queen of Animation).
Madison served as a fellow in Heroes of Math in her 6th grade year. She is passionate about science, math, golf, and dance. Her future goals include making a difference in the world using science and math.
Isaiah was, with Jameson, a founder of the Heroes of Math fellowship in 2018. Isaiah loves math especially multiplication and division and playing basketball. Isaiah plans to work in science to strengthen his skills for a future career.
